When the student enrolls in L'ITALIANO CON NOI, he/she is also agreeing to comply with our terms and conditions.
The enrolment fee of 50 euros is obligatory for all courses. It is valid for 12 months and includes the teaching materials, the use of the linguistic center, placement test and assessment, the Certificate of Attendance, the preparation of the documents for the student visa application, assistance in finding the accommodation, access to an online platform with additional materials and other services.
Their duration is of 50 minutes.
Each course must have a minimum of 3 students. Their level is assessed by a placement test in which student’s linguistic skills and motivation are evaluated. If the group number is less than 3 students, the daily timetable will be reduced. For the language course it will be reduced to 2 lessons of 60 minutes each instead of the 4 daily lessons of 50 minutes. When there are in class less than three students, also for all other courses the timetable will be reduced but the total number of classes will vary depending on the type of program.
The school is closed on national and religious holidays. In 2024-2025 the school will be closed on the following days: October 31st and November 1st, December 8th and from the 19th of December 2024 until the 6th of January 2025, April 10th 2025, April 25th 2025 , May 1st 2025, June 2nd 2025, August 15th 2025. Lessons missed on these dates won’t be made up.
Any currency conversion costs or other charges incurred in connection with the payment of Tuition Fees are to be paid in addition to the Tuition Fees. No deduction from the Tuition Fees for such costs or charges may be made.
To confirm the booking, the student is asked to pay for a DEPOSIT equal to the 30% of the total course price. The enrolment fee is also to be paid in advance.

The student is asked to pay for the balance in cash or with bank transfer before the end of the first week. During this week the student will provide the school with a copy of his/her ID or passport. The student applying for long-term programs (more than six months) can pay the balance in two or three parts if previously agreed with the school.
- The student has the right to withdraw from the current contract within 14 days, without the need to state the reasons. The withdrawal possibility expires after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of this contract, as indicated by the affixed date, along with the student’s signature at the bottom of the contract. To exercise the right to withdraw, the student must inform L'ITALIANO CON NOI of his decision to withdraw from the contract by means of an express written statement (for example, by means of a posted letter, a fax or an e-mail). For this purpose, he could use the attached withdrawal form, although this is not mandatory. To fulfill the withdrawal terms, suffice it that the student communicates to L’ITALIANO CON NOI his wish to exercise the right to withdraw before the end of the withdrawal deadline. If the student withdraws from this contract following the aforementioned terms, all payments made to L'ITALIANO CON NOI will be reimbursed without undue delay in no later than 14 days from the day L'ITALIANO CON NOI has been informed of the student's decision to withdraw from this contract. The refund will be given using the same method of payment used by the student for the initial transaction.
- If the student sends the communication regarding exercising the right to withdraw after the end of the aforementioned deadline of 14 days following the day of the conclusion of the contract, yet, at least 20 working days before the start of the course, L’ITALIANO CON NOI will refund the student 80% of the amount paid (with the exclusion of the annual registration fee of 50 euros). Otherwise, the student will no longer have any right to withdraw from this contract unilaterally and, consequently, no right to any refund.
- In case the student has already started using the services of L'ITALIANO CON NOI within the withdrawal validity period, that is, before the withdrawal deadline of 14 days after the conclusion of the contract has expired, and should the student decide to withdraw from this contract in compliance with the aforementioned term of 14 days, he must pay L'ITALIANO CON NOI an amount proportional to what the latter has provided to the student by way of services up until that moment in time in which the student himself has communicated that he wishes to withdraw from the contract.
- Students who have not obtained a study visa are required to notify L’ITALIANO CON NOI of that fact in writing at least 15 working days before the starting date of the course. In that case, the school will reimburse 80% of the total amount paid (minus the annual registration fee of 50 euros). Otherwise, the student will not be entitled to any refund.
Students starting later or, for any reason, not completing the course, will not be entitled to any refund, not even partial. Group classes missed for illness or any other reason won’t be made up. Individual lessons can be made up only if cancellations are made at least 24 hours in advance.
Students will not be able to recover any money from us, and we shall not be liable for any failure or delay in our performance arising from acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to: lock-outs involving the workforce of another party, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, fire, flood, storm, pandemic, epidemic or other outbreak of disease or infection or a failure in the public supply of electricity, heating, lighting, air conditioning or telecommunications equipment.
The school requires that the enrollment of students not yet of age be accompanied by a DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY signed by the parents or guardian of the minor. In this disclaimer of liability, the parent or guardian must declare that they understand that the school assumes no responsibility in the event of problems of any kind involving the minor in question. A copy of the identity card or passport of the parents or guardians must be attached with the disclaimer.
The student accepts:
1. To exonerate and relieve the school, as well as its legal representative, its teachers and tutors from any civil and penal liability, including strict liability, resulting from participation in educational initiative/activities outside the school, for any accidents or injuries suffered resulting in harm caused to oneself or to third parties and to illnesses in connection with the completion of the initiative, including accidents and injuries resulting from the action of other participants that are detrimental to the school.
2. To waive any claim for compensation and reimbursement, in the present or the future, from the school, its legal representative, its teachers and its tutors. Hence, the student shall exonerate the school, its legal representative, its teachers and its tutors from any responsibility and all actions pertaining to it, such as lawsuits, as well as any type of judicial and / or arbitration proceedings related to the risk of accidents, compensation for damage to persons and / or property of third parties, damage to equipment and the risk of loss of personal belongings due to theft or any other reason.
3. To relieve and exempt the school, its legal representative, its teachers and its tutors from any and all responsibility for any loss / theft, damage, or expenses which might be suffered.

The school offers assistance in finding the accommodation:
- If the assigned accommodation is not available, the school reserves the right to assign another accommodation of the same kind.
- All students are required to be sensible and reliable during their stay, any untoward activities either in the school or in the accommodation could result in expulsion from the accommodation with any refund of expenses incurred.
- Students must observe the regulations governing safety and security and do nothing to compromise their own or other residents’ safety and security. Students must also behave courteously to other residents, staff and visitors at the accommodation. Please note that it is a requirement of the accommodation to keep and then leave the room in a clean and tidy state. If students do not comply with these requirements, they may be asked to pay extra and leave the accommodation and we shall have no further obligation to provide them with such accommodation.
- The school and its legal representative are however exempt from liabilities concerning all matters between the student and the house owner.
- Any refunds and cancellations for the accommodation follow the regulations of the structure where the student is staying. The school cannot be involved in any way as it only offers a free accommodation assistance service.
- In case of any complaints, students can contact the secretary and a new accommodation will be found, providing serious and justified reasons.
- Accommodations will be paid directly to the owner of the house the day of arrival.
- Any disputes or disagreements will be settled in Verona’s Tribunal Court.
Pursuant to EU Reg. No. 679/2016 (GDPR), L'ITALIANO CON NOI, as data controller, informs that the personal data acquired on the basis of this contract will be processed in compliance with the aforementioned legislation. In particular, ITALIAN WITH US, pursuant to art. 13 EU Reg. No. 679/2016, informs that the personal data provided by the interested party will be processed with electronic and non-electronic tools, and will be processed in order to comply with the contractual obligations arising and fulfill the consequent legal and contractual obligations deriving from them, as well as to guarantee the achievement of effective operational management of these relationships.
The personal data in question may also be communicated - in order to allow the fulfillment of contractual or legal obligations - to all natural and / or legal persons (public and / or private) who contribute to the realization of the processing activities, to in order to guarantee the correct performance of the supply activities relating to this contract.
The provision of data is optional, but necessary for the correct performance of the contractual activities. Any refusal by the interested party with respect to the provision of data will make it impossible to conclude this contract and follow up on its supply. The personal data processed for the purposes indicated up to now will be kept only and exclusively for the period in which the activities covered by the contract are carried out and in any case no later than the expiry of the suitable terms to guarantee the possible defense of a right of the Company at its headquarters. of litigation.
The interested party can always exercise all the rights referred to in Articles 15 and ss. of EU Reg. no. 679/2016, including those of access, rectification, portability, updating, opposition and limitation to processing as well as cancellation by writing an email to ...
